Postcards to Jimmy

Back in April I posted up some images here which were part of a collaborative postal project between myself and artist/musician/all-round-good-guy Jimmy Monaghan. As part of this project I sent him some of my photos and allowed him to do as he pleased with them. He, in turn, sent some of his own photos for me to work on and this is what I sent back...

Found Family

Whilst clearing the back room of the unclearable house (previous photos here) I came across a dusty disposable camera perched on one of the shelves. Curious about why it was there and what was on it, we sent the camera to be developed. What came back were some family snaps of a man and woman with their two children on holidays.

The man who owned the unclearable house had no partner or children and his sister did not recognise anyone in the photos. We concluded that he must have found this camera on his travels one day and intended to develop the photos but never got around to it.

I might post some more up again another time.
